Yarn names, colours and swatches are provided by ‘Cashmered’ as an indication. While we have made all attempts to minimise shade differences, computer screens always display colours differently. Therefore, the colours of the yarn may not match exactly. Should you be unhappy with your purchase please refer to our returns policy.
Because we buy our yarn from a major Italian company specialising in the fashion market, the shade card varies each year in response to market trends – and we will keep our website up to date on the latest colours added to our range. However, this does mean that stocks of specific colours and dye lots are limited. Should we have insufficient stock of the colour you require we will notify you by email to offer the nearest alternative, and await your further instructions.
We want you to be delighted your purchase. However, occasionally things go wrong. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please get in touch with us, by email or phone and we will do whatever it takes to resolve the issue. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it, in the original packaging if possible, within 14 days of receipt and we will refund your money or send a replacement.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights or those of any other contract you have with us.
Distance selling regulations
We operate strictly within the parameters as set down in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations (DSR’s) protect customers not physically present, (and therefore unable to examine the goods) at the time of purchase. They cover purchases made via email and the Internet, together with telephone and mail order, within the EU.
These regulations only apply to transactions between businesses and consumers, and do not include business-to-business contracts and auctions. Under these regulations, consumers have the right to:
- Details about the supplier and the terms of transaction.
- Written confirmation of their order.
- Information, including notice of cancellation rights, complaints procedure, after sales services and guarantees.
- Delivery within 30 days.
- Customers are entitled to a 7 day ‘cooling off’ period in which to cancel the contract, starting from the date the goods are received, without explanation.
If the regulations apply, customers may cancel goods purchased from ‘Cashmered’ by sending a written notice of cancellation by post. This notice must be received by us within 7 working days of the date of the delivery of the goods.
The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to ‘Cashmered’ if they exercise this option of cancellation under the Regulations. Our advice is that ‘proof of posting’ is obtained from the Post Office as we reserve the right to refuse a refund if an item is lost whilst being returned. Should the customer not return the goods to ‘Cashmered’ direct, they are under obligation to make the goods available for collection at the customer’s expense from the address to which they were delivered.
The customer is under a duty to retain possession of the goods while awaiting collection for return, and to take reasonable care of them during this period, as the customer will be liable for any loss or damage to the goods should they fail to comply.
Any credit or refund for goods returned under the regulations will be for the cost of the goods less any postage and packaging charges incurred. In any event, a credit or refund will only apply if the goods are in an unused and ‘as new’ condition. The refund will be made to the debit/credit card used for payment.
